Concentrate on today

Concentrate on today pixConcentrate on Today

Text: Matthew 6:34: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Sometimes we put our concerns and uncertainties about tomorrow before we put our trust in God. We must remember that each day has its own problems. Our God is the God of time, and everything is under his control. If he cares for the lilies of the field, how can he not care for us? (Matthew 6: 28-34)

When we put our concerns first, we open the door for anxiety and fear to fill our hearts. In this way, we become vulnerable to the tricks of the enemy. It is for this reason that we must turn our anxieties and our problems over to God. Jesus can carry our problems, and with Him, we can walk safely, without fear of tomorrow.

When we focus on doing the will of God today, we focus on what is essential to our life: Him! When we give ourselves into the hands of God, He leads us in victory. In this way, we walk from faith to faith and from glory to glory.

Trust God today!

  • Deliver your fears and worries in prayer. God can ease our souls. We have direct access to the Father through the Son.
  • Read the Word more. The more we know God, the more we become attached to Him.
  • Keep in mind that God is sovereign. No problem is more significant than our God. We are God’s beloved children, and there is nothing impossible for Him.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I want to give You my fears and problems. Keep fear of tomorrow away from me because the future belongs to You, and I know that everything works for the good of those who trust in Your name, and by Your help, I receive grace to concentrate on today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
