What does the Bible say about sex before marriage?

What does the Bible say about sex before marriage? What does the Bible say about sex before Marriage?

That is why we have come up with this post to involve you on What does the Bible says about sex before Marriage.

Along with other types of sexual immorality, pre-marital sex is sternly condemned by the Bible.

Monica (Real name withheld) was only thirteen years old when she gave in to sex before Marriage. This was his testimony:

“Having sex before marriage was the most horrible experience of my life. In no way was the experience so exciting and satisfying than the world made me believe it was. I felt as if everything inside me was being exposed, and no one attended the emptiness and clamor of my heart. It is horrible as the conscience accuses you since I also know that I will not have my virginity again. I am afraid of the day when I will have to tell the man that I truly love and marry him that he was not the only one, although I wish it were so. My life before God has been stained. I have done a lot of damage to myself, my parents, and my whole family.”

The Bible says:

Flee from fornication. Any other sin that man commits is outside the body, but he who fornicates sins against his own body (1 Corinthians 6.18).

Raquel and Juan had a year of meeting. They had a beautiful friendship and an unusual courtship. Juan’s parents loved Raquel very much. But one night, something terrible happened! Juan began to put pressure on his girlfriend, begging her to sleep with him.

I would say to him, “If you truly love me, you will not refuse to do it. We are going to get married soon anyway.”

Raquel already had her wedding dress, but that tragic night the young lady gave in to so much pressure, and as a result, she became pregnant. When she notified Juan, he abandoned her and went to live in another city. Raquel’s parents did not want to know anything about her. Now, this young woman is emotionally devastated and alone. Soon she will be one of the so many single mothers and her son, one of the so many children without their true father.

What does The Bible say about having sex before marriage:

But fornication and all filth, or greed, not even be named among you, as it suits saints (…). Because you know this, that no fornicator … has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God, let no one deceive you with vain words, because for these things the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them (Ephesians 5.3–7).

The young man who cheats on a young woman like Monica or Raquel just to get a sexual relationship is guilty of destroying not only her virginity but also her dreams and desires. And such a young man also stains his own life and conscience with the sin of immorality.

Young man, you have no right to tempt against the life of any woman, much less your girlfriend. When she gives herself to you, she gives herself not only physically, but emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. And everything becomes more difficult for her when she becomes pregnant, and you become smoke.

If you are aware of the sexual desire towards your partner, but you love her, you will know how to wait, and you will respect her. But if you only think about possessing it, enjoying it, enjoying it, and satisfying your genital impulses, then you will treat it as if it were any other, and you will end up frustrating yourself and her. Lust does not wait, and caprice does not wait … but true love knows how to wait.

Young man, authentic manhood is tied to mastering your instincts. Surrender to Christ and develop a strong character in self-control. Respect the woman and yourself, and avoid these kinds of bitter experiences that will mark you for a lifetime. Just as you would not like anyone to cheat and abuse your mother, sister, or daughter in the future, so neither do you.

The Bible says:

Do not err; Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminates, nor those who lie with men, nor thieves, nor misers, nor drunkards, nor cursing men, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God ( 1 Corinthians 6.9–10).

Now, it is not always the fault of men. Of course not! There are many “young ladies” who are not respected and are lighting fires here and there. These are the ones that dress provocatively, flirt, and they are comfortable, they can all be hugged, groped, kissed, and they don’t say anything. If this is your case, then don’t complain later about the results of your behavior and appearance. To the extent that you want others to respect you, you must also respect them. If you do not appreciate it, you are guilty of the sin of lust and of provoking sexual immorality in the mind of the man who looks at you.

Is sex before marriage a sin?

But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Matthew 5.28).

The young man or young lady who truly loves and waits until Marriage earns the honor and respect of all. Also, God looks at these things with pleasure. Maybe your friends don’t look at it in the same way that God does, but your future wife or husband will thank you very much.

Sex is beautiful in Marriage.

God made sex. It is a beautiful thing within Marriage. For married people, it brings satisfaction, contentment, and emotional well-being in the flesh. Yes, sex is one of the most exquisite and pleasant pleasures that the couple can enjoy here on earth.

But outside of marriage, sex becomes ugly and grotesque. It brings shame, slavery, and misery. The wait is worth it.

The Bible says:

Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers will be judged by God (Hebrews 13.4).

If you are stained by sexual impurity, whether you are a young man or a young lady, we ask you through this treaty to seek God in repentance and to stop sinning. Christ can cleanse your body and your mind if you repent.

The Bible says:

Come to me, all of you who are worked and loaded, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls; for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11.28–30).

If you are a person who by God’s grace finds you free from sexual sins, then we want this treatise to encourage you to remain faithful to the Lord so that you may enjoy sexual and spiritual purity. If you are married or married, then we ask you to keep sexual purity and always to be faithful to your spouse.

The Bible says:

Drink the water from your own cistern,

And the streams from your own well.

Will your fountains spill through the streets,

And your streams through the squares?

Be for you alone,

And not for strangers with you.

May your spring be blessed,

And rejoice with the woman of your youth,

Like a beloved doe and a funny gazelle.

His caresses satisfy you at all times,

And in his love amuse yourself.

(Proverbs 5.15–19).
